I recently bought a 1985 Real-Lite truck camper. While I was getting it home, the escape hatch lid blew off and I couldn't find it.
I am having a terrible time finding a replacement. I ordered from Hengs, but it wasn't quite right. Too big and the hinge was wrong. The opening is 17 x 24.
Any advice where I could find it? Is it easier to just replace the whole unit?
Thanks for any help,
Amy

If you haven't had any luck yet, you could try this place, they carry everything old and new. The prices are not bad either... Here is the link -- https://www.yellowpages.com/montpelier-in/mip/ickes-rv-surplus-supp...
Here is a link to fiberglass over cardboard. https://microship.com/cardboard-core-composite-fabrication/
Thanks Guys! I tried the local repair guy but he wasn't able to help. I guess I'll be making one of my own.
I made that one from wood for the frame and a piece of !/4 inch plywood for the top. If I was to do it again I would make it out of cardboard and then fiberglass the cardboard.. Good Luck
When I lost one on an older unit I had to fabricate the replacement.
