Okay, I've started the restore on the 77 Free Spirit. Just tore the rear interior out. quite a bit of water damage from a leak in the roof. Here's some pictures of the damage:
Here's some Pictures of the unit when I got it:
Engine is a 360 Dodge with 2 barrel, Runs good, Carb a little screwed up but I've had a Q-Jet built for the motor, have the manifold and will change that (hopefully) this week, along with the timing chain, hoses, belts and all that. Added a hot coil, rebuilt distributor and filters already. Have a new filter for the tranny and plan on doing that this week too. Tranny is a 727,
Weather's been dry here for two days and today it's supposed to be sunny and in the 40's. I should have the interior cleaned out and dried up today. I'm using laminated joist (LVL) ripped to size, for the roof repair. Fairly cheap and stronger than anything else for the price.
That's where I'm at this morning. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
