neutral safety switch location on 1969 Winnebago

I have a 1969 Winnebago D-18 with a 318 ci engine with an A727 trannie. Can someone please tell me where the neutral safety switch is located? The engine does not crank over when i turn the ignition key. It is silent. I do not even here a click coming from the solenoid with fully charged batteries. My starter cranks over the engine when i touched the posts with an insulated screw driver so i know it is not the starter. I replaced the ignition switch and starter relay and still nothing. I am thinking it is either the solenoid or the neutral safety switch that is preventing it from starting when i turn the ignition key to start. Can someone please tell me where the neutral safety switch is as i want to find out if this is the issue before replacing the solenoid. It would be much appreciated.

Thanks to all that provided me information about the neutral safety switch for my 69 Winnie. By locating it i was able to replace and get it started. So thank you. I am a happy camper once again!

Hi Michael, welcome to GORV's.The neutral safety switch is combined with the reverse light switch and is located on the drivers side of the transmission. Its right next to the shifter rod.You will see the wires that plug into it there.Good luck.
