Hello, my name is Jeff Strong and my wife's name is Yvan. Pronounced E- Van. We are first timers. Currently we live in Portland Oregon but that could change. We had always fantasied about owning and RV but that was what is always was up until the end of September. The house we had been renting for 12 years is to be sold because the Landlord can not afford the taxes and has some medical issues that require big dollars. We started looking around and found we couldn't afford regular housing or even Apartments. So we started exploring Manufactured homes and we could afford those either. So we prayed about it and God reminded us of our fantasy and we found there is quite a nice selection of quality used Motor Homes. So we have been doing a lot of reading and talking to Motor Home owners and some Seniors like ourselves who ran into the same problem as us and all the while going and looking and sniffing and poking walls and testing floors for squish etc.etc. and we are down to two and they are both 34 footers.
Fortunately I am a Pastor of a church which has about 3 acres of which abut a 3rd is parking lot. AND the church has a bus driver. So he will bring the Motor home to the church for me and then I can practice driving it and keep the motoring public safe. So that is where we are and we will have lots of questions and I am glad that now I have a place where I can ask those questions and get straight answers.
