Of Course Getting out camping and traveling can be affordable

This post will relive a project of making a camper van for under $1000. As with all of my projects the intent is to show you can do it and not brake the bank. The first requirement is to find a vehicle worthy of the effort . I look for a privately owned vehicle with maintenance records requiring a repair . The vehicle I found was a 1995 dodge caravan, only 2 owners and both used the same repair shop and they showed me all the repairs and maintenance since new . The seller couldn't get it to start one day and bought a new car thinking their teenager would learn to drive on it in a few years , had the shop come and diagnose it as a fuel pump at over $400 repair . I bought the van for $450.
