recent update: the sap from the maple trees is running intermittently, so this means we are paking things up and getting ready to move! About two weeks ago we purchased a larger woodstove for cooking on and as of now we use it to boil down sap . I noticed today when i got home and was doing things in the toaster that somebody needed its battery more than we did ugh i just bought it recently and installed a disconnect switch!!!

so far we have two wood burning stoves a few oil lamps a non electric clothes wringer  one issue we are going to come across is keeping spoilable food cold the toaster does have a working 2 way frige but its a tad small! so we migh get a large older 3way or a kerosene frige. also we are always on the lookout for a good used or new wood cookstove if anybody has or know where there is one close to us let us know please !

Good for you Joe and the winters are milder in KY compared to Ohio.
