Refrigerator

We have a domestic royale frig.(3 way elec., gas and dc.)

When we are plugged in to electric it goes onto the ac side for a while and the check light comes on and when we reset it goes back to electric then jumps to gas.  Does anyone knows why it jumps to gas. 

Plus the lower part doesn't seem cold but the freezer is doing great.

Any help or info would be great.

Thanks we replaced the board for $139.99 AND IT WORKS GREAT, plus replaced the electric heating element.

Thank's for the info.. But another thought when the inverter gets hot it trips this causing the check light to come on. The monter says batteries are dead but when we shut off the inverter let it coll then kick it back on the batteries are fully charged. So, between what u are saying and what we saying maybe we should just replace both and safe...
