Jennifer-My girlfriend 2 houses down is a "Sister" with her themed (I love Lucy,50's) trailer- I did her art inside and out. Most of them have a hired artist or a friend do the art and I think they refer the artists around. You can see her little "cupcake" on my restoration site-look on the Home page and see Jana's Camper site- ;0)

Start by first ,cleaning and sweeping----get a clipboard and make notes as you clean -look for water stains and make notes of where. Also document original colors and fabrics-----look for changes that have been made-and repairs-------be sure and photo everything, especially wires and plumbing details. Don't throw anything away----create a special trash bin for everything that was in the trailer---------I did ,and later found many "missing parts"

Jennifer, sorr didn't get back to you sooner.lady dog and I just got back from south dakota camping. we're back at the cabin now.

Suggest you read VK's blog posts and see her page here. She does absolutely fabulous retro restorations and offers many tips and comments on the best, and most practical, way to restore vintage travel trailers. Check out here web page to. You can also e-mail her right here through goodoldrvs.com just click "Send Message" and away it goes in a safe fashion.

About sisters, just comment within their home page I guess. I often view their photos page since all their vintage bumper pull trailers are "themed" soooo well!
Keep on rving.
