Hey Gang
A very late review and thank you. Why do I even include late? You guys know me by now.
The 2013 Freezefest went perfecto! 14 people showed. It always hovers around that number.
Paul volunteered to arrive early and lend a hand setting up. We arrived about 2:30 and by 5:30 the tarps were hung by the chimney with care in hopes of friends would soon be there....whoops got carried away. It takes that long to prepare and get things ready.
We had more than enough wood and the temps weren't bad at all. Temperature stayed around the freezing mark most of the night. No winds so the tarps stayed up and another big plus was no snow so I didn't have to shovel the shelter.
The rookies in attendance this year were... Ruth, Janet, Harry, and Paul. Ruth survived the ordeal with no frostbite and actually enjoyed herself.
I brought my usual hodgepodge of assorted cassettes and cd. The best part of the cookout is when just about everyone leaves..... ummm that sounds bad.... and those who remain gather around the fire and converse and or listen to the old music or radio shows I bring a long. Just a great time.
Janet, Jeff B., Keith hung around with Ruth and I till about 1:30 am helping tear down the tarps and pack up. Thanks again!
Next year it will be the 10th year anniversary of the recorded history of the Freeze Fest. I have been doing this much longer but never organized it or took photos. Just a few friends and I would show up unannounced and enjoy ourselves.
Soooooooo make plans now, order your airplane tickets in advance to be here the last Saturday in February 2014 for the 10th Annual Winter Cookout/Freeze Fest.

SHAZAAM!! Thanks
Gotcha! I knew you did mechanics but I also thought you did it all. Thanks
Carey, there's a spot waiting for you here at the Jimco Jam Event.About that sandpaper grit I'm a mechanic so I don't know that much about painting.Maybe someone else at GOVR's can help you.
Thanks Jim. Trying my best to attend it. Last year funds and time were just not there. I am thinking about scuffing up the ole GoGo Bus and then reshooting it. Never tried anything like this. What grit would you recommend as I'm pretty sure you have tackled something like this in the past.
Hey Carey, looks like you guys had some fun.Talking about fun,be sure to attend the Jimco Jam Event this year.We missed you last year.It would be nice to meet your S O in person and have your purple go go machine here for the Jam again.
