One of the reasons I chose to convert a 40' bus as a single traveler is because I wanted to build a workshop in the bus. The last eight feet of the bus is a craft/work shop where I play and work. I have a heat press for tee shirts and coffee mugs and other items I can sublimate. I have a vinyl cutter/plotter where I make vechicle graphics. I have a small wood lathe among other toys and tools.
It's mostly to calm an over active, restless mind. But I can and do make a little traveling money while I play. I'm setup to teach free craft lessons while on the road. People can actually design and make their own gifts/projects and take them with them. Or they can special order items and generally get them the same day if I have the items in stock. They can also order online and I can ship from where ever I am.
I sell on Etsy and Cafepress and several other online sites. While I don't expect to get rich doing this, it is always a welcome site to get an email saying I have an order.
I have a blog at Roving Craft Shop and I'm also on Facebook. Check me out if you get a chance.
