Here we are.... it is already January and in only 4 short months we are planning on being on the road full time as first time RVers. Every free time that I have is spent online researching and learning about this lifestyle, the ups and downs and the many challenges we will face. Eventually I will be able to teach other newbies a thing or two and I am not even on the road yet! I am a member of many RV groups on facebook, I am meeting so many wonderful friends online who are already full timers and I am enjoying every minute of it. I am so ready to be out there and I sure wish I was! But I am still missing that one most important element that is crucial in living this lifestyle... and that is an RV!
I can't even begin to tell you the hours I am spending on searching for the right RV at the right price. Dealing with lousy customer service sales people at one local dealership, having to travel to another.... but still have not found THE ONE! Oh, I am often told that I will eventually find it and when I see it.... it will be like having an epiphany with the hallelujah choir in the background and a bright light from heaven shining down upon your chariot to freedom.
So my search continues.
I presently work in a restaurant. This restaurant faces a major 6 lane road. It is located by one of the major interstates and a huge shopping area. As I look out everyday through the windows and doors of the Restaurant and from the patio.... I notice every single RV that passes by and my heart skips a beat. A deep sigh rises from deep within me and escapes between my lips. I enter a trance-like state as as if hypnotized as my eyes follow those RV's until they are out of sight. Yea... I have it really bad!
So, I will continue to research, make friends, learn all I can as I go in search of that ONE RV that is meant just for me. But I tell you what.... I will even move into a large conversion Van with tent and camping gear just to be sure that I am on the road in 4 months. After all.... It is actually the freedom of the road that I am longing for. But having full bathroom facilities would be a plus. And so the search continues!

Thank You Lakota!
Not a day goes by that I don't see myself finally living my dream. It is the drive that keeps me pushing in no matter how impossible it may seem.
Welcome to the life of being FREE, go where ya want and when ya want. I wish you luck in finding that one gem you will call home.. You will know it when you see it.
