The story begins here my '66 Aristocrat

I have purchased a '66 Aristocrat Lo-Liner ST from some really nice folks from Loyalton,CA. who had started to refurbish but discontinued the process when they found a smaller aristocrat which suited their plans better. I was excited to get the unit home and start the work on my own process of repair and restoration. So far have serviced the wheel bearings,WOW looked like original grease from '66. brakes were still wired and had some life left,so have left intact for now until I rewire the connection to see if they work off my controller. I ground the rust off the drums and sprayed them with rust treatment, then painted red as I plan to change the outside color scheme from black/white,to red/white which will match my truck. I then purchased new tires and rims and installed them. I have now started to work on the marker lights and tail lights. waiting for the new marker lights to arrive the tail lights work but need gaskets and replaced a bulb. That's all for now next step will be the break-away switch and rewire brakes at connector.
