What type of wood would be best to use for repairing rotted wood in a pull behind travel trailer? Need something light but will hold up I'm thinking fir but not sure any info will greatly help thanks

   Get marine plywood for any walls etc that is water prone.   They use this for skins of boats!!

Fir is good choice,, easy to work with ans price reasonable..

It is actually at the rear of the camper. So you could say its for a stud for a wall in the rear that runs horizontal. Floor is in good shape and a couple pieces need replaced on the ceiling. Thank you

Depends on where the repair is going to be,, a wall, floor,ceiling.... Lexan is good for walls and ceiling but not floors. Its lightweight and pretty durable and easy to work with. As far as flooring, Don't use press board,,,, if it gets wet, it puffs up and then disinigrates.
