We purchased a 1987 Ford Corsair Supreme and after we bought it we discovered extensive damage (water and accident).  Rather than getting rid of it we decided to rebuild and restore.  Right now we're in the throws of this crazy project.

There is not a whole lot of Vintage Ford Corsair support out there, which is why we decided to join this group. (Thanks for allowing us to join).

In addition, we have created a "Vintage Ford Corsair Motorhomes" Facebook page.  We want to start a community where Corsairians (if there is such a thing) can share tips, tricks, stories, and post pictures.  It's about the creation of a community where the intellectual capital of fellow Corsairians can be shared.  With your permission, here is the link to the Facebook page:

Thank you.  And, I look forward to connecting with other Vintage Ford Corsair owners.

Kindest regards

Hi Lakota,

Thanks for the lovely welcome.

The water damage went from the dining room all the way back to the bedroom.  We were surprised at what we uncovered.  Nonetheless the project excites us. I'm looking toward to building a community of CORSAIRIANS.

Clean looking Class C, ( Corsair ). Was most of the leak/water damage in the upper bunk area, more around the front window? That's the trade mark vulnerable area on the Class C's with front glass. But you have taken the big step to keep that ole gal going. There are several blog posts on the Class C rebuilds in our forums. So,,, welcome to GORV's.
