John, I have a Progressive Dynamics 9200 Series Charger which I love. Its a "Smart" 4 Stage Charger which fast charges at a BULK rate around 14.4+ volts,,,,,,,Then slows down to ABSORPTION rate at 13.6 volts,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Then settles in at a slow maintenance FLOAT charge at 13.2 volts so it doesn't overcharge the batteries,,,,,,,,,,Then every so many hours it runs an EQUALIZATION charge which helps reduce sulfation on the plates. Sure there are other brands like Xantrex and Best and others, but a SMART 3/4 Stage Charger is the onlyyyyyyyyyyyyy way to go nowadays in my engineers opinion regardless which brand you choose, plenty out there. NOTE I shut the power off on my old inefficient noisy humming heat producing Converter/Charger and simply wired the Progressive Dynamics Smart Charger to my batteries so they are charged anytime the RV is plugged up. Mine is a 60 amp unit (9260 I think???) and was around $160. Go for it.................
