You might check the choke and make sure it opens up all the way when warm. that's the first thing to check. second, is the engine missing at idle, or is it just loading up, (fat) blowing black smoke, or dead miss, does it rev up fine, there is a lot of possibilities, let me know what it is exactly doing. most certainly when warm. you will have to pull off the air cleaner off to check this out. If it tries to smooth out at higher rpms, you might have to rebuild the carb, or replace it, but it sounds like a choke issue to me, let me know more info.
