RV Converters

Please bare with me, first time on a forum. I have an Alfa Gold that came with an 80 amp converter which is having problems. I no longer use the belly air or the two RV refrigerators that came with it. Is there any reason I cannot use 50 or 60 amp converter? Thanks so much, DavidSee More
