cost of tow

Anybody have their class C towed, while on the road?...curious about the appox cost....thinking about adding towing on my policy...I know you are at a disadvantage when you find yourself stranded.

Born Free

Any older Born Free owners out there?...I am new to RV'ing but looking forward to learning. I have a 96 Born Free..plan on studying the manual...but there is alot to learn. I am starting with horst probes, hope that will cure the reading problem....I hope that this high mileage model will be fairly dependable, it has a Ford 460...hope to hear from someone out there

Yes I got it yesterday. Took it to my mechanic. It needed some tightening or seals here and there. It has been 8+ years in the hottest part of Arizona. The previous owner came over- he had traded it in for a travel trailer. Ayway, he had some parts of it to give me, including a shop manul for the Ford part of it. Also some pads to put under the automatic levelers (!) AND most important, the lp/110 refrigerator he took out of it. He said that in 110 degree temps (summer here) it didn't keep things frozen so he had taken it out and put a little 110 in it. When he told me over the phone he had it in his garage for 5 years, I thought it might be a dusty mess, but it is spotless! Yay.
Yes I have plans to improve/upgrade a bit. Some coat hooks, more towel bars, maybe replace and slightly expand the kitchen counter....
