Up to 50% of heat in your RV can be lost through single pane windows. Installing double pane windows is not in the cards for this old boys wallet. So, what to do? Bubble Wrap, of course.
I've been using bubble wrap for years in our trusty old cooler in summertime. Ice lasts about 1.5 day in it. After getting a delivery one day from Harbor Freight I was left with a nice sheet of bubble wrap. It was just about the size…

Lately I've been thinking about what caused our wreck in Colorado. Could it be that the GMC Yukon's ABS breaking system overrode the brake controller so that the trailer brakes did not engage? Is this possible?
We really want to get on the road again but can't seem to get over our near death experience. Maybe we could if we can learn what caused the…

Thanks for the welcome! We are excited to get started on our Fireball! It seems to be in great shape, cabinets/handles, appliances (minus fridge), windows, heater, etc. are all original in look great! My husband insisted we have double axles on whatever I found so I'm sure he appreciates them too. The previous owner had the original rims (minus the baby moons sadly) so we're working on restoring them. I'm so excited to watch and learn from everyone here!
Thanks! Glad to be here.
Hi Pat; I love the conversions depicted on your webpage. To be honest I would far prefer to do a restoration of a vintage motor-home than front the money for a new rig. Most motor homes spend about 95% of their lives parked in someones driveway/shelter, with very low milage. Thanks for all your help in showing me around. Don
Pat, I now see them, I was trying to view from iPad which didn't show the photos on home page.
Thanks again for the comments and feature. I'm enjoying the Spartan and will post more photos soon.
Thanks Pat Just picked this up and looking for information.
Thanks Pat... so far things have gone well...even the black water thing. You got me curious now though, we will have to get that movie and check it out! One thing we have noticed though is our gray water tank is so small! The showers are going to be short! ☺
