I have not been a camper in about 40 years, but am very excited about getting back under the stars and spending more time enjoying nature! I just bought my first vintage trailer (ok, 1st trailer ever) last week and have been having some difficulty finding much information about the 1973 Shasta XL-2200. It came with all the written materials for the the systems items, but no info on the trailer itself. If anyone has knowledge about this model I would be most appreciative of a share. Thanks!See More

Tell us a little About Yourself
Just purchased a 1973 Shasta XL-2200 and looking forward to "re-learn" about trailer camping before I hit retirement in 4 years. I grew up in Northern California and miss the mountains, trees, and outdoor living that were such a big part of my youth.
What Interests you about the world of Good Old RVs?
I love vintage! I own a historical home that I have been working on renovating for 5 years now. Older items have so much more charm and character and can be useful if properly cared for. I am a big fan of recycle/reuse and look forward to picking up pointers on how to properly renovate my travel trailer.
