i will be 75 this year(2013).i've owned a few rv's
in the past,A's and B's.i'm a retired plumbing &
heating guy.i've trucked all over the usa driving flatbed.i drove taxi's in nyc as a kid and worked on b"way as a stage manager.i'm also an army vet.i love old airhead bmw"s and own
a few.i just restored a /5 with side in the process of getting a class-a rv.i like the the ones from the early 70's.i've been lurking on this site for some time and find it very informative.

Just did my 73' leaked bad for my 2 years of ownership.that seal and a leaking

1973 travco

i finally brought her now that makes me the third was a 1500 mile trip back to ma.with no issues.rollie johnson,the previous owner called the travco "george"which i find hard to do,so thats the first upgrade i make.other than that the old girl is pretty vice free and i'm not inclined to change things just because

the bloom may be off a little.i'll be camping in and around new england and switch geography when winter 

comes back here.if you see a geezer piloting…

That's allot of work. I own a 1968 270 & I'm doing the body work, structural and rough interior first. During the years of restoration, I often wonder how the heck am I going to get the engine and powertrain out of it. Well good luck and I hope it runs like a bat out of hell like their known for.
