Henny, have you already paid for it? If not, it is very normal here to have a certified RV Technician do an inspection of the RV and send you a full report, including anything broken. I can help you find someone to inspect the RV if you have not already paid for it.

If you have already paid for it then it is yours and you will have to just fix anything that you find broken when you receive it. However, since the owner is a long time owner and is a member of the GMC club I suspect that it is probably in good shape... these people usually are very proud of their GMC's. And, maybe he can also even help you find parts.

Have you asked the owner what needs to be fixed and does not work? Since it will be so hard for you to get parts once it is shipped to you?

henny, it looks to me like this aluminum part can be easily straightened at a metal working machine shop or a new one could be built out of standard aluminum channeling once you get the rv home.

I do hope that you had someone inspect the rv before you bought it so you have no surprises once your get it shipped home.

I am not sure that I understand your question about "invoices".

Yes, please post a picture so we know what part is needed. I do not think we will be able to help you find one before the shipping, but if we can find the part maybe we can get it shipped later so you can install it.
