Hi Paul, I've been wondering how you have been doing. I had a dose of reality set in and decided to let my Grumman move on to a new owner. I had sold my Ariens snow blower to a man from Iowa last Winter and he asked about the RV  then. We got together on a price a while back and now the RV will soon move to Iowa and start a new life. The new owner has more money to work with than I will ever have again, since I had to give up my job! I need to do a few things to get it ready for the move, including going over the battery box so it rolls in and out like it's supposed to, and I have to do a repair on the exhaust pipe which I noticed is broken and hanging down in the middle. I guess he wants to gut it and completely re-do the interior.

So, I guess I'm officially out of the Grumman business and will be concentrating on my Ariens tractors and old engines. I just picked up another Waukesha ICK that was on a military Start Cart. It was used to start airplanes back in the day. It's a little 60 Cu. In. 4 cylinder that drives a 28V. generator. I have another ICK engine that was originally an auxiliary engine from a Pershing tank. These guys are all aluminum, crankcase, block, and head. They weigh about 140 LBS. complete I don't know why but I like Little 4 cylinder engines! I also have an old Military generator that has a Hercules ZXB which is also a 60 Inch engine, though not as small as the Waukesha.

So, did you ever get your sports car finished? They can be a lot of work too!

Well, good to know you're still hanging in there and among the living. YOU take care and have a good rest of the Summer. Talk to you soon. Kirk

I would love to live in my RV and travel the country. It would be more of a challenge than it sounds.Fuel prices being what they are and the cost of food. Id love to have a you tube channel to share my adventures on. Time will tell whether I am able to live that life. Best wishes to you and hope you are successful in your endeavors.

Thanks Grey Wolf, Back about 10 years I went through the old girl and rebuilt the brake boosters, and transmission. I had to redo most of the wiring because of a fire under the dog house that started when I blew a power steering hose! So, I've been over under and through this old girl! I keep thinking that I should just have an auction and sell all my stuff (junk) and just hit the road!  And can't bear to give up on that idea. I need to find a way to live another 70 years or so! Stuff like this keeps me going!

Congrats on a job well done. Gives one a warm feeling inside to be able to do something like this. Time to celebrate and drive it around the block or around time just to enjoy the experience.Best of luck.
