Thanks! The kids had a blast riding in the back on a second trip. I still have some little things to wrap up, but it's mostly done now. I can take all the tools, rags, cardboard and other non-camping stuff out and put the passenger seat back in! Still have to patch that hole in the floor, too...

Oh yeah - the exhaust leak is the choke tube. Will fix that when I replace the carb on Monday.

So I took it easy because it has not moved under its own power in at least 6 or 7 years. Wasn't sure if the brakes worked, or whether there was something I forgot to batten down. But...first trip around the block went well. No leaks, no smoke, it stops and goes nicely, runs cool, etc. It was idling a bit high and rough when I returned from a second trip, but I have a new carb and plug wires still to install.
