Jim, just wanted you to know. We have the new-to-us secret camper here at our home in FL now. It is in excellent condition but does have a few problems that I am working out. The last owner was deathly afraid of propane gas so he removed all he gas appliances and al, the gas lines. I have already replaced all the gas lines. He even removed the tank holder from the front frame. I have replaced that also. I installed a new gas water heater and I am installing a gas/electric refrigerator in it. I flushed out the water system. and added a newer pump. Next I have to glue down the brand new roll rubber roofing that came with it. All upholstery is good with only a couple small tears that Darlene already sewed up. Floor, walls, are excellent. We sold all of our other campers except for the SilverStreak which we just put up for sale. Steve & Darlene PS: the new camper name is still a secret.
We're from Portage Lakes Ohio, now in Deland Fl. just starting to get back into camping other then when I was deer hunting. Camped at West Branch Res., Family Acres, Atwater and clear water parks, Leesville Lake.
We have a 1984 Georgie Boy and just purchased a 1975 Cree, still working on both planning trip to Ohio wk. of July 4.
Thanks for the invite. A very friendly and interesting site. We are brand new to RVing and so far are enjoying this new freedom. Taking baby steps this year with our travels and hope to venture further away next year. Cheers!

Hello, Donna and Jim. Thanks for adding me as a friend on this site. I am in Wisconsin, and do enjoy my new/old Yellowstone camper! It's a real gem to me. I don't do a lot of 'camping', and mainly only in the summertime, close to home. That said, I hope to expand my horizens in the future, as I become more confident in pulling the trailer. I'll try to upload a few photos of my lil "Bandit" Yellowstone, and the places I've been so far.
Hi Donna and Jim, Thank you for the warm welcome. We are north of Columbus a little bit. We are just starting to make changes to the rv. I am working on uploading the before pictures and will post updates. Your pictures are great! Thanks again, Dana
Thanks...I'm 85 yrs young, if I told you my wife's age I'd have to move into our present RV full time!!! We have enjoyed various RV's since 1970. I love to tinker an have been thinking about restoring an older RV but finding one where the chassis isn't rusted out that my big boys toys budjet can stand might be a problem..
Enjoyed your photos.

Looks like you have also been to the cedar key rally. Do you know Tim Heintz?
Thanks for the welcome. that park is really pretty. you can walk to the beach and in some spots you can see the beach too. there is a light house real close and can walk around it, the views from there is really beautiful.
We remember BooBoo, but when we met you, you still had your old truck...Yogi hadn't been bought yet. I know what you mean about getting ready for your rally. We are wagonmasters of the Southern Indiana Vintage Camper Rally, and are into our 4th year.
We presently have a 1955 Cree and we are working on a 1959 Shasta Airflyte to keep for ourselves. It will be painted the 50's colors, black & pastel pink, with lots of crome.
We have had an ice storm last night, and the roads are all closed around here. I envy your Florida home right now...LOL. Thank you for all the pictures from your rally. These are like a breath of fresh air!
I guess we won't be seeing Hunter anytime soon, she's really having a spell of bad luck down there in Texas. Take care of each other! Erin & Roger D.
Hi Guys, Roger & I met you at one of the Misty River rallys a couple of years ago. WE were with a group that caravaned down from Indiana/Illinois/Kentucky. Had a great time. This vintage camper passion sure is addicting! Hope you are doing well.Roger & Erin D.
Sorry we won't be at Cedar Key. If we were there, we would probably be able to help you with that issue as everything we do is custom. Currently working in the Lakeland FL area then on to Fort Myers area next week. If we can be of further assistance, please let me know
Hi Donna, Thank you for welcoming me aboard. I do not have any plans to go to Cedar Key or to the rally you mentioned. I work too much. I love your decked out photos that show on your page.

Iam looking for tailights for our 1982 Travelmate motorhome. They have 3 lenses and are surface mount. They were very common in the 70 and 80 not made anymore. Looking to purchase a pair.
