Thanks Martin.  I am sure we will have lots of questions and will need some expert advice once we begin doing all we want to do.  So far the inside is coming along well.  Any suggestions other than carpet for the overhead area?  It currently has carpet (bad job) and I really would like to go with something that could be wiped down.  Carpet and camping just don't mix in my opinion.

Hey Martin.  I haven't started sanding yet. Been pretty well involved with interior stuff.  I did spend time on the roof with a putty knife scraping off much of the rubberized roof coating, tape, and tar.  The silicone is a little more stubborn, but everything eventually yields to the wire wheel; I just keep it moving to avoid heat build-up.  I just can't see any other way to get that stuff off.  I'll try posting some photos.  Thanks for the message.  Pete

Thanks for talking with me on the phone yesterday.  I'll post some close up pictures of the paint/body today or tomorrow.  Thanks again for the tips and encouragement.

Hi Martin, Check out the forums, there is alot of good info on restorations there and you can ask people questions if you have a problem or need something for your RV. Post some pictures when you can. Gary
