The Palace had one that was double taped to the coach entry door when it was opened it just chirped not really an alarming obnoxious sound. It really just let you know the door had been opened and ran off a AAA battery. I tossed it. You can get a silent alarm for your house that is monitored by smart phone that would work fine for RV's for times you may be parked out alone like boon docking or for those times when your the only one in the park. But Like Lakota observed most campers are friendly folks that just want to get away from hustle and bustle and we tend to be aware of the folks around us and try to look out for one an other.
You would have to be more specific,,, an Alarm for when its in storage or when out camping? Many storage places won't allow an alarm system that will screech or wail,,, plus most have their own security. If your parked at home, they have those *magnetic sensor type door and window alarms, So when a door or window is open they let out a high pitched screech,, garranteed to wake up the neighbors. While camping,, locking the doors is sufficient, as *Most other campers pretty much watch over each other.
