hi all; sorry I cant help you, and I have a similar problem.  I am working on a 74 motor home and know next to nothing on it.  no id on the body builder, only know it is a ihc chassis and 345 ih motor. only good thing is I worked on ih trucks in dealerships and construction companies back in those days.  hope you get the info you need.  good luck and have fun.    mike h

An  F.Y.I.  The NOMAD hasnt changed that much through the years. Its still assembled the same from the early models to date.... Nomad is the 3rd longest running name brand in the RV industry.

They are built by SkyLine corporation. They also build the Aljo,Layton,Rampage,Weekender,Malibu and Joey,  They all pretty much have same specs. So don't always narrow your search for info to just one specific model, or model year,,

Awesome! That helps a ton. I did find out that Skyline made them- the info plate is missing and I don't know how to tell if the vin matches the title and I was trying to find out the weight/axel rating.

On the INSIDE of the tongue there should be stamped V.I.N./ Serial numbers, They usually get covered with rust and gunk,, they arent stamped real deep,, but with a wire brush and some elbow grease you should be able to clean it up enough to read and verify.

Also your Nomad single axle should be in the 1800-2000lb range. (the little Joey, Skylines little camper is a 1450 lb rate).
