Just an FYI . RV box bumpers are not designed to hold bikes,cycles or heavy totes.They need extra support.

The bumper in question was the lightweight aluminum. It dont take much to peel those loose from mounting bolts.

Hmmm. Juno has a pickup truck side toolbox bolted and spot welded to hers. I've had it looked at (err, maybe not by a professional...but a professional father) and all seems good, but that makes me think I better take another look.

Young rving couple lost their rack, bumper and 3 bicycles on I-35 this afternoon. Traffic was scrambling to dodge the tumbling bikes..no vehicle damage, but a lot of damage to bikes and box bumper..
