Update on truck Batteries, After shuffling some bills and not having to refill some prescriptions this time around, I finally got 2 new batteries installed and the Ole Red is back on the road. Who would have thunk that batteries with a 1 year warranty would ONLY last 3 years? They just dont make things to last like they used to..

My wife's GMC truck battery was found dead right in front of the garage one morning. Thanks for all of it's service. 2006 to 2014.

Lakota Wolf are we twins from different mothers? I just got batteries, too! I think its the Texas heat. I'll be up to my armpits in traffic next week across 3 counties for treatments. Don't need DUMPS!

I've had to replace batteries on two or three of my tractors and the little RTV side by side this year. The one in my John Deere was only like 14 years old............ go figure. LOL guess they don't make them like they use too. I think they paid for them self's though, way out lasting their warranty. I keep them on battery tenders year round so maybe that helps them to not build internal resistance? I have had batteries only last a year or two as well and not be a cheap battery. I guess you get lucky once in a while. Sorry you had troubles but it come's in threes so your done for a while water pump, battery battery - well...maybe? Hope so. Have a good one Lakota !
