Did you find your VIN?  How is everything going with your Meteor?

For Meteors, top of the tongue, on the left as you face it (ie, “curbside”) near the crank to raise the front.  Likely covered by layers of old paint.  Wire brush to bare metal; shoot a good photo (convert to black and white then increase sharpness and contrast); compare to the Title VIN; then repaint to stop rust.   Many Fireballs had the VIN on right side of tongue.  It may be covered by the platform that holds propane tanks, but it’s only a few screws holding it in place.  As I said in my email, let’s talk.  I don’t “do” facebook and such for security reasons.  It was odd I heard from you and another person.   Congrats on having a Fireball....my personal favorite canned ham!

Your V.I.N. should be stamped on the *Inside portion of the frame on the tongue of the trailer, Usually stamped on the LEFT side (facing the trailer).

A wire brush and some elbow grease is involved.
