Escaping New York for good? If so, I can't say as I blame you.

Yeah, 60 for the bit then 50 for the rush shipping since wife want's out of here asap.....coming up, Escape from NY...
LOL Daniel. Only 60 bucks for an RV part? You got off cheap! LOL!
Thanks Kev! I found my TS30 Todd transfer switch under the kitchen counter area. A small, 6"x6"x3" grey box that held the solenoid switch (and totally blown capacitor!!!). so I ordered another one to replace it since I cannot find the specs for the capacitor. i could have just replaced that part and be done with it but no.... we can't have folks just ordering a $4 part when ripping out and replacing a $60 switch will do....
When my automatic switch failed on our old Holiday Rambler Imperial, I ended up bypassing it and wiring in a 30 amp genny receptacle in the power compartment. You just plug your power cord into it, and the genny powers the coach as if you were on shore power. And it is dummy/fool proof. You have to unplug from shore power and plug your cord into that receptacle to run off of genny power. In this picture, you'll see two 30 amp receptacles. One is for running off the generator...and one is for running the coach off the pure sine inverter.
