It took a year but the camper is finally in ship shape! Re-done underside, new braking system, paint, new tires, re-furbed interrior, new electricals, gas........etc!!! It was well worth the time, energy and money spent. We have brought this old girl sitting out in a field back to life. We are gearing up for its maiden voyage in 2 weeks. Although we have just hung out in it in the driveway a few times. You forget where you are when you are in a vintaged camper, especially when its raining....... Outstanding!!! I need a few odds and ends to truely finish it up but as it stands its functional and looks sharp! Check out the few photos I posted and I will add more soon!! Happy travels everyone!

Yes, actually I'm having brake issues. I have a break hanging up and couldn't find the issue, the camper is at a mechanic now being looked at. Wish I didn't have to do it but old electric brakes are not my specialty. Knock on wood my lights are good. My camper photos are on my page.

can't find your photos!  I'm interested because my wife & I refurbished a 1977 Coachman RV - it needed a new ceiling, new flooring, new walls in the bathroom (moldy), starter, brakes, windshield wiper motor, new toilet, etc.  Did some cosmetic things like new drapes and blinds for the windows also but my wife sews so she made the drapes to cover the entire front window.  Had the furniture professionally cleaned and it's in good shape.  I've encountered some other problems though - last year when we took her out (Labor Day weekend) all systems were working, but this year, 1st time out, the brake/tail lights don't work.  I've bought a new lighting assembly and checked fuses but still can't get it to work.  Did you encounter any problems with your electrical such as this?
