Beautiful!!
How beautiful!!
All the work was done with out the use of any big power shop tools. All I used was a
small portable Table saw and my Kreg Pocket Jig . I also purchased several good
clamps that were able to expand to 24".
I used standard 1" x 6" Eastern Red Cedar. Also known as aromatic Red Cedar.
You learn a lot from mistakes along the way!! One board at a time.
how did you do that countertop? I have a 1952 Aljo needs work on counters and tabletop
The answer to the finish for my kitchen counter is this. "MinWax Helmsmen Spar Urethane"--Gloss--
Easy to work with and recoat if needed later. 3 coats sanded between coats. Before I applied
the final finish I also use a Boiled linseed oil cut 10% with mineral spirts to bring out the
color of the Cedar.
well At least someone types beautiful right ,lol .Gorgeous wood! Love the grain in it too
Wow, that IS very beautiful!! I love how much counter space you have on the right hand side, and the back splash. You do beautiful work, very, very nice!!!!
Beuatiful ,what did you finish this with, nice glossy look to it
