Thought I would share this pic of whats called Triple tow,(Truck,Bumper pull Trailer with additional bumper pull trailer). Actual Term is Pulling doubles.. THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED OR SAFE. Doubles should ONLY be done with a 5th wheel tow set up. This is NOT for the Newbie Tower. Towing on a 2 inch ball adds excessive sway which is compounded down the line. The old drivers term is wiggle worm.
When I see drivers doing this I just shake my head and laugh, Because I know somewhere down the road they are going to have some serious problems.

I have seen this exact set up on a couple occasions Lakota and was amazed people even tried it. I too had no idea about the safety chain issue let alone the obvious. Once again you have enlightened the masses. Thank you for your observation and more over your willingness to share critical failures like this one. It makes us all more aware of whats out there and why it's a problem. My hats off to you!

OMG!  I didn't think that was even legal.

No offense taken.

Sorry for saying ,,can't fix stupid.. bad choice of words... Under trailer towing, THE TRAILER being towed MUST be secured to tow vehicle with safety chains. (In this case, the second trailer IS NOT secured to Tow vehicle.)..

Or in my case ignorance, I for one did not know the second trailer had to have chains or cables alllllllll the way to the tow vehicle.  Thank you for enlightening us on that little tidbit.

F.Y.I.    If you do have to pull a double set up,,, FEDERAL LAW,, states,, the second trailer MUST HAVE safety chains or Safety cables run from trailer TO TOW VEHICLE. This included BOTH trailers having safety chains to tow vehicle.

If you notice in the picture, the second trailer DOES NOT have the safety chains run up to tow vehicle,,, only to the first trailer...

No insult to drivers who do this, but sometimes ya just can't fix Stupid.
