I gave *Murphy a coupon for a free french fry, so I can attempt the faucet replacement without any problems.

One thing about Murphy, he's an equal opportunistic kind of, of well what ever he is he messes with every one at one time or another. Glad he's stayed away for you the last few projects Lakota. Good on you!

Who would have thought the solution to guaranteed success is the value menu at McD's.

Got the faucet installed and working,, yes I said working, both Hot and Cold and on the correct handles.Sometimes I even suprise myself. Gave up on the single handle design faucet in the kitchen and opted for the double handle.Used braided flex lines with galvanized unions with lotsa plumber tape,
(well not really a lotsa lotsa, but enough to cover the threads). When working on a kitchen sink, there is very little room to get a wrench up their behind the basin near the back wall. And the human body was not designed to bend in a gumby position to really look up there and actually see what your doing. So you rely on the search and find by fingers method.. But after all the connections was made and tightened snug. I turned the water back on and ran back inside and stuck my head right up in the cabinet wi8thy the old trusty flash light and watched for that expected leak. I watched, and watched and even watched some more,, then watched a little more. Being blind as a bat,, I had to watch extra hard. I even double checked myself using a snot tissue along the lines to check for that elusive sneaky drip. Was all dry. I waited a couple hours and checked again for leaks,, Still dry.. BTW. Murphy showed back up after I was done and he was grining from ear to ear cuz he enjoyed his coupon for a free french fry to compliment his happy meal,, But.. He just hung outside for a bit till he noticed a neighbor attempting to fix a hing on his shed door. I yelled at neighbor, But it was to late.. Murphy was right there to help him.. Poor guy. Im scared to go over and see how his disaster turned out,, Maybe I will ask him tomorrow.. he he he he.
