Need RV towing advice

I’m buying a 1993 Winnebago Class A, 35’ diesel pusher With a Cummings 300 hp turbo diesel and an Allison six speed transmission today. It’s my intention to drive it across country. I’ve never driven an RV with a trailer behind it, and I need to hear some suggestions about realistic weight expectations, preferably from people who have done this before. I have an enclosed trailer that weighs about 2400 pounds empty. I’m having trouble deciding whether there drop in gas mileage is worth it. Maybe I should drive across country without the car and just fly back and drive the car across? People who have done this… Would you do it again?

Is it possible to consult an Auto moving company that transports Autos cross country? They might B able to transport it for you. Check out their rates and compare them with the cost of fuel and or lodging and flight costs if you decide to fly back and drive it home. I have done the Auto Transport Company thing and they were reasonable. Just throwing this idea out to you. Best of luck on whatever you decide.
