- Hello everyone. I have been reading on this page for some time now. I love the older rv's and bought my firsts rv for a one time trip in 2012. We made a 4500 mile journey from ohio to calaforna and back again. We enjoyed it so much that we are doing a Easter tour this year. My rv is a 1987 36 foot monaco that we fixed up for our last adventure and are currently using it for our Easter trip. My wife and I are both firefighters and are enjoying taking a month off work to explore.
