Hi randall, The fan on mine probably hasn't worked for a while. I have rigged a small fan from one of those inflatable yard decorations to blow in there and keep it cool. Otherwise other than it discharges my aux, battery it doesn't make a lot of noise and it works. I'll just hook up a small charger when I'm hooked to power.
