1968 Winnebago 219SL Water tank/water pump

I have a 1968 Winnebago trailer and I am not sure what type of water pump I have.  I removed the old galvanized steel tank because of water damage.  I have the pump and want to replace the tank.  It is all copper water lines and I am not sure what type of tank to get or how to check to see if my pump works.

Hi Patti, thats a pressuized water system.So you would need a tank that is compatable.But you could change it to a water holding tank with a inline demand pump.

Thank you.  I will look into that.  Are the pressurized tanks hard to find?

Pressurized tanks are kinda antiquated and restoration usually goes to a standard holding tank,(removing the need for a compressor), and installing a widely available on demand 12 volt water pump. Makes installation easier and less hardware to install or use. The older pressurized tanks were bulky and heavy, and with the new plastic water holding tanks, it reduces excess weight.
