Hope your ready for a labor intensive job. The bodies are bolted and glued, and you tear it down in the reverse it was built.

then what would be a better way

If your not worried about a mess, a chainsaw, followed by a cutting torch, have it done in 2 maybe 3 days.

id suggest a

Reciprocating Saw

There are several YouTube How to Videos. This one shows how to accomplish the task quickly.

postman,1 video ties a tow strap to a tree and the other end through the windows of the RV and pulls it with an F250. my little 4.6 ford probably wouldnt do that

I suppose you can leave the battery bay intact as long as it is no taller than the frame. You will need to remove tanks, plumbing, propane, and  any "attached" accessories. Then get after it with a saws-all and a fire axe. Cut the walls out first and and across the roof above the driver. From the rear edge of the roof anchor in a fashion to attach an appropriately sized winch to control the collapse successfully. as far as the driver deck that will have to be dismantled piece by piece as it wraps around the engine compartment. What I think is going to derail this idea is literally the rails, the frame rails center to center. Good Luck!

postman: link is by far the most fun and exciting method. job done.

lakota wolf a chainsaw would save me the time of having to take everything out of it first
and now that Ive seen it.its only 20 ft long not 30 and its 8ft wide

Just FYI,

I have been told the shortys are popular if theres a legit title. MIne's 23' thats what I liked the most.

A good man with an axe_ two hours all done!  Nobody knows how to work anymore!!!  My ex partner could quarter a car in ten minutes with an axe!
