Before applying the liquid rubber to the roof, I decided to experiment in forming and installing seam edging. I purchased edging that looks like angle iron and will accept rubber insert to hide screws. Sales people say it will bend to conform to rounded slope of the roof . I don't think so. have tried several ways and the metal buckles. Then I tried cutting V notches but it looks terrible. If anyone has a secret on how to form this stuff I could sure use your ideas. At $38.00 for a ten foot length I can't afford to experiment too much.
I just make a template of cardboard or thin plywood type material as a "form" for the angle(s) and then have my great local sheet metal shop turn out the lengths and curve I need. About $65.
Thanks Pat. I was talking with a fellow golfer whos Dad had built a number of trailers. Apparently there is a a tool they use to bend it similar to that used to bend tubing. The concept of creating a template had crossed my mind. Maybe if I combine your idea with Rich's I can make it work.:)

if you have access to a set of torches you could try to anneal the Aluminum. just heat it with a sooty flame; you don't have to get it flaming hot but it will allow the aluminum to become malleable and not harm it. do a search on you tube. There may well be a tutorial there for you to view. hope this is something that you can add to your repertoire of skills. It's something I have not done in this application but I have done it for other projects. you can probably google annealing aluminum and find some info there. good luck

is it standard rv corner molding?? they make a wide flange and standard. got a pic??

That aint gonna bend,, its gonna twist and crease.... Try what David mentioned,, thinner guage,,,, with a template, you can manipulate it but nothing with a drastic bend.
TY Dave. I tend to agree and may have to look at other options. Rich had suggested possibly annealing the aluminum in order to aid in bending it. I will give that a shot in the next couple of days and get back to y'all:)
