IMPORTANT PLEASE SAFETY NOTICE -PROPANE TANKS

I received a DOT recall on "Lite" propane tanks. All propane tanks are being recalled, the company is shut down due to safety. If you have any of these, immediately turn off the tanks and remove them. There is a discussion as to the company returning purchase costs.

Good posting......... As with any propane tank,, It is a good idea to have a reputable propane distributor INSPECT your tanks and be sure the safety valve is operational..  **Note. Ca. has a state law that requires tanks over 5 yrs old be replaced... Most everyone with the small BBQ type tanks usually go to local grocery store and such and do a SWITCH on tanks.  The BLUE RHINO tanks,, turn one in, pick up another type deal..

In Arizona you can have the tanks re-certified. I also like that.

You can say that again. My wife and I just moved in to an RV. Learning a great deal... some of it the hard way.
