Is it possible to insulate a motorhome without tearing out the walls? I have a 1987 fiberglass rv in great shape but i don't think there is any insulation in it!! Would love to insulate it without removing the interior!!
Is this possible?
Thanks!!

You would have to put up a false wall over your original walls..
Thank you for your response...I didn't think of that!!
Have you looked into spray foam insulation? Just a suggestion.
I have thought of spray foam..wonder how many cans it would take to do the whole rig!! Also thought of blown insulation, but I am not sure it would be dense enough to make a difference...
Thanks again for your help!!
All the walls are glued together. Outside fiberglass is glued to the Styrofoam insulation which is glued to the paneling inside. There is no way to insulate that setup. Your best bet is to get something like cork tiles, about 1 inch thick, and glue that to the inside walls. Here is a link to a place I found that sells them.
In the few times that I have removed pieces of the walls, I have only found wisps of fiberglass insulation. On occasion, I have had critters running between the outer shell and the inner panels. I like your idea of the cork tiles!! They would conform nicely to the rounded sections of the walls!! Thank you very much for taking the time to reply and for your suggestion!! And thank you for the link for the cork tiles!!
