Do you own one of these.

What can you tell us about this other brand made by Winnebago Industries?

Thank you Jimco!!

I have a very fixable 1982 Itasca Spectrum. It runs like new with a 350 engine and 3 speed auto

transmission, the trans has one of the overdrive units on the tail end. It walks the hills really well and gets 13-14 MPG.

My Uncle gave it to me and my wife last year and we drove it back from So Cal, I checked the belts and hoses, put fresh Mobil 1 syn oil in it, added an inline fuel filter, aired up all the tires and it ran 70 plus mph all the way to Arkansas with only some tail light/blinker problems. He has made many trips in the past back and forth to see us, pulling a Suzuki Samurai with this rig.

We got some good sleep in it at a travel center between Tucson and Elpaso.

The overdrive has a dimmer switch on the floorboard to kick it in and out, also there is a early version of power commander type box and it must still work because it pulls it's self well.

TireRack running some 16.5 Firestone tires on ebay at a very decent price so I got two for the front as the tires on my RV are at the 7 year age limit-ordered some LED lights from Camping World to up grade the inside cabin lights.

Other than the tail light, shocks and some more smaller stuff, the fridge is the main big thing that's actually out on the little RV. I hope to have gone over it and have it suitable for camping by late Summer. Maybe add a solar panel and an up dated charge controller and extra battery!!

I surely would enjoy making contact with others who have experience with this type RV.

Charles, your small block Chevy powered Class C motorhome has the custom fiberglass front end.

You don't see that every day.Nice add on's.Shows what you can have in these old RV's.

I have to agree with you on the 7 year old tire rule. That's good information for everyone!

Yes Jimco,

The tires on my little rv look new, I know the front ones only have about 1700 mi on them, But they have sat all this time. They got us back from So Cal a year ago and I was very proud of that, I don't mind spending for some tires, the alturnitive could be unpleasent in the least.

Next maybe update the tail/turn lights with LED

- saftey first.

Hi, is she like the one I own ?

Hi Oliver,

mine's single wheel and not as big sq footage as yours. It don't have the overhead bed, just bunk beds and the table area lets down to a nice bed.

I don't have it here where I'm at now, it's at my other place. Would like to have it here to be working on it.

The new cabin lights are in now and two new tires for the front, new deep cycle/starting battires. Need to get to work!!!

What plans or work has been done to your rig? I see you have a Great place to work on your stuff!!!

Camping World ran a sale on one of those Very nice wood cased electric heaters, so I got one. It's an RV size, but I had to test it in the house. It just idles along to keep the bedroom warm, it will get the room hot if you put the thermostat over 67 deg.

It's safe and the case never gets hot, I don't know if they're still on sale but I would reccomend these little heaters.

Yes Charles,my mother bought one of these to use in her home. She's very happy with it.

lol, I hope she still enjoying it, as I am mine, we have had an extended period of winter. Mine is on right now, may have to get another one whenever I put the rv on the road. This little heater has spoiled me.

PS, I don't think that the dogs would part from this one now either.

Hi, I own Winnebago Itasca she is from 1976 im doing it up id love to find the older oeners to tell me about its past its on irish plats now.
