Hi, I've just moved into my 1975 Chrysler rv. It wasn't ready but family situation called for it! I've ripped off the old propane tank and replaced it with a freestanding tank for now. I've replaced water. Now's where you find out how very little I know about what I'm doing.
I can't get the fridge to turn on (no juice, even electric), no running water. Could it be that it's winterized? What do I do? I wanna smack myself for asking the most basic questions! thanks,
Corey

Corey, does your fridge have A/C power?Plug a 120 volt table lamp into the wall outlet that supplies the A/C power. The lamp should light up if you have A/C power available to run your fridge.
How do you supply your water to your RV?
It does have a/c power plug, and I checked the outlet, it works, just not the fridge. I'm in an RV park, partial hookup, dump station on site. Looking at getting a portable septic so I can walk it over, any suggestions on that front are welcome!
I redid some of the plumbing, it was all mismatched connectors but got that sorted out after going at it for three days. Turned it on, no water in the RV. I'm looking for a switch that will let it in? But first I have to fix another leak. There's about a 4 in gap between a couple other mismatched water lines, pouring water.
Never give up, never surrender, right?
At the bottom of the fridge there should be a panel that pops off. There could be an on/off or reset button or maybe a selector switc from ac to dc.
If it's like the fidge in my 76 nomad; there is a small panel on the bottom; that has dials and such to allow you to adjust temperature and select propane or electric.
This one has a row on top, above the freezer. There's an on/off switch, three buttons to choose energy source, and a little button you can push to see which energy you're currently using. It's getting no juice. Inside the fridge is the knob to adjust temperature. I don't see anything else. I've checked the electrical outlet, and the fuses too.
