Tailgater Satellite Dish and Dish network...

So, for those that don't follow my regular posts (and for good reason), you probably missed my EPIC rant about my Tailgater satellite dish from King Systems going completely offline. The cause?? Dish Network made changes to their system that, according to King systems, rendered the VuQube I got from them - that I paid hundreds of dollars for - COMPLETELY WORTHLESS...

KING offered NO fix other than a replacement main control board that would cost MORE than a NEW DISH....!!! Nothing. Nothing from them. Just a "sorry, that's the way it is".......

I went to Dish Network, they admitted to making the changes but told me it wasn't their fault my dish didn't work any more....

 

To make a long story longer, I blew up all over the web on every page I could find about how much CRAP this was that NO ONE was taking any responsibility for the SNAFU. This would be like me buying a computer, then 2 yr later having my internet company telling me I have to buy another one because they "made changes" and my current computer isn't "compatible".....

 

Anywayz........... a very nice gentleman from DishForMyRv.com read one of my posts and contacted me. He felt sincerely bad for my situation and was the FIRST person I was able to talk to that didn't treat the whole thing with blatant apathy...... In no time at all, he had set me up with a brand new dish for a better deal than I could find any where else.

 

Just wanted to give a shout-out and kudos to all at DishForMyRV.com for helping us out.....!!!
