What kind/style type of battery will i need to get my new (old) travco running out in the field?

If that is hard to answer, what kind of things determine the kind of battery for 27' dodge travco. I want something that I can depend on I just don't know where to begin.

Can i just get one from Sears? I have no idea.

Thanks so much!

Joanne

Yes, Sears, Walmart, any auto store.  You are looking for a vehicle starting battery.  Because the vehicle is a truck, you should opt for a battery that is a little more powerful than what would normally go in a car.  You should be able to get advice at the store, and there should be a reference catalog that would relate to your frame; i.e. Dodge M-300 - 318 cu. in. engine.

Good Luck,

RWC

Thanks for your answer, it really helps!

You will need a group 34.

thanks, I'll make sure to do that..

Hi Joanne, any automotive starting battery in good condition will work.Just make sure that you get a battery that has its + and  -  on the same side on top as the old battery.

thanks I will do that!
