While out and about for work the other day I saw this trailer.  I was certain it hadn't been there before since I regularly go through this area.  I stopped and asked about it, apparently I wasn't the first either.  The ladies nephew 'drug' this thing home, this is his second such trailer and he is planning on restoring this trailer.  From the brief conversation it sounded as though he had restored the first trailer.  I don't know anything about this trailer other than he has a fair amount of work to do and that it is major cool!!

I saw one of these at the Lynden Rally I had went to last summer. A Canadian couple owned it and they also got it from Calif. It was AWESOMELY restored.
It probably was at the Lynden Rally again this year. We had just come back from our first camping trip when we saw the Lynden Rally starting. I was getting things ready for camping at the rally when I put my back out (recurring injury). Didn't even get a chance to see things set up and going strong.

this really is neat.  what year?  I see from the reply below that it's an Airfloat.

It has been a few years now, about eight or ten I think, but a local RV dealer had one similar to this on the back of their lot.  We peeked through the windows as much as we could at the time and the inside was pretty rough but all original.  The exterior on that one was all aluminum and smooth as I remember.  We were pretty sure that the owner of the dealership was planning to restore it but have not seen it since.  I love to see someone take the time and effort to resurrect a vintage unit like this.  It depresses me to see any of the oldies sitting out there and slowly deteriorating especially when there are so many folks that would take the time and interest to bring them back to life.  Spotted in Great Falls, Montana
