I'm a little embarrassed to admit that this is the first time I've washed it in over a year (maybe close to 2).

Nice!! Paint looks fresh and clean. How do you get the dullness off to make it shine besides waxing! We have a 1986 also, that needed a little work that we are doing.Trying to save money as there is very little but replacing the needed things a little at a time.  Had a few leaks but think we have gotten them sopped but trying to decided on best sealer to put on top, so if you have any experience or ideas, please share. Here is a pic of ours!

Very nice! Your front cap looks like it retained its shine better than mine did. It looks ok in pictures but it's pretty dull. I haven't done anything to it since I got it 2.5 years ago other than scrub it really good in early 2015 (it had sat in a tow yard for 6 years) and then hose it off occasionally. Yesterday was only the second time I washed it (as in with soap and a brush). I haven't waxed it yet.

I used Liquid Roof on mine. It worked great. I had lots of leaks from the time it sat without being maintained. Mostly around the roof rack. Even after a generous application of Liquid Rubber I still had a couple of those leaking. I cut pieces of Dicor tape to fit around the posts and seal the base to the roof. No more leaks! Except for one pesky leak in the shower. Can't figure that one out but I think it might be the roof vent. It leaks into the light fixture but only from melting, sitting snow. Doesn't do it when I wash it or when it rains.
